A decade of quiet observation.
I'm Nikolay Petrov — a photographer based in Sofia, Bulgaria, with a camera that's seen more than 500 events across 12 countries. What I do isn't strictly taking photos. It's listening, watching, and waiting for the second a room changes temperature.
My work leans cinematic and editorial. I'm drawn to the in-between: the glance before the kiss, the hand reaching for another, the laugh that catches a grandmother off guard. These are the frames I chase — not the posed ones, but the ones that remember.
